Phoenix police say a pedestrian was hit and killed crossing the street near 43rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road late Saturday.
The pedestrian, 61-year-old Ronald Rock, was crossing the street just west of the intersection when he was hit and killed.
The driver, a 33-year-old female, stayed on scene and cooperated with police. Neither speed nor impairment were factors in the crash.
