PHOENIX — A woman was shot and killed in a Phoenix apartment complex parking garage early Monday morning.
Police say they were called to the scene near 16th Street and Northern Avenue around 5:40 a.m. in response to a shooting.
A 57-year-old woman, identified as Linda Meyer, was found dead in a vehicle in the parking garage of the complex.
Police say the suspect, 64-year-old Stanley Justice, was later found by a citizen in a wooded area in Wiliamson County, Tennessee, with a fatal, self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Investigators learned the two had been in a relationship and officials were searching for Justice after Meyer was found dead.
