PHOENIX — Phoenix police say they have four suspects in custody believed to be involved in two shootings and an attempted carjacking that left one person dead and another with serious injuries.

Authorities say just after midnight, a 38-year-old woman was shot near 19th Avenue and Bell Road while she stood in the drive-thru of a fast food restaurant. Police say she was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.

The suspects then drove to the area near 9th and Peoria avenues and shot at a 17-year-old boy who was walking down the sidewalk. Police say the teen was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

The suspects then drove to the area of 7th and Grovers avenues where they attempted to carjack a man. The victim refused to give them his vehicle and one of the suspects fired a pellet rifle at his vehicle causing the window to shatter.

The victim called police and followed the suspect's vehicle until police took over. Officers located and detained all four suspects near 17th and Grovers avenues.

The suspects were identified Wednesday night as Charles Harris, 19; Troy Brunnetti, 18; Larry Scott, 19; and Austin Olson, 21.

Police say all four suspects were arrested and booked for murder, drive-by shooting, aggravated assault and armed robbery.

Police say they are working on the investigation and have not yet released a motive for the shootings.
