Police say a man was taken to the hospital after an accidental shooting in North Phoenix early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the scene near 7th Street and Bell Road before 4 a.m.
Police on-scene say the man in his twenties was cleaning his gun when it was discharged, hitting him in the jaw.
The severity of his injuries is not yet known.
