A Chandler man was arrested in December in Phoenix for stealing Mac 'n' Cheese, but it was something else that police found in his truck that was surprising.

Court document show that a homeowner in the area of 35th Avenue and Deer Valley called police saying two people were in his home and stole two boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese and a tool box.

With help from some witnesses, police found and caught 28-year-old Michael Allen Dodd on Dec. 8 who told them they had entered and opened the garage where they stole more tools, a couple of skateboards and two bicycles.

Dodd told police they steal tools and bicycles because they are easily sold. He also told police they had also stolen tools from a nearby work truck.

When police searched the suspect's truck, they found $20,000 worth of tools.

Dodd faces multiple charges of theft and burglary.
