A 4-year-old girl has died after being pulled from a north Phoenix pool late Tuesday night.
A Phoenix Fire Department spokesperson said crews transported the girl from her house at 44th Street and Union Hills Drive to Phoenix Children's Hospital just after 11 p.m.
On Wednesday morning, Phoenix police said the girl died at the hospital.
Detectives at the scene have learned the incident happened during a family party. None of the adults at the house were aware the girl went outside and to the pool area.
Police said the girl was discovered as the party was coming to an end.
