PHOENIX — Authorities say two Arizona Department of Public Safety officials suffered minor injuries from shrapnel when a weapon malfunctioned at a shooting range.
A Phoenix Fire Department spokesman says they were transported to a hospital for evaluation.
The incident occurred Monday night at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility near Carefree Highway and Interstate 17.
