PHOENIX — Maricopa County Sheriff's officials are investigating a deadly shooting near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road.
MCSO says deputies were called to the area around 9:30 p.m. Friday for reports of a shooting. When deputies arrived, a man was found at the scene with a gunshot wound.
Fire personnel pronounced the man dead at the scene. The victim has not been identified.
No suspect information was immediately available and it's not clear what led to the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
