PHOENIX — The Department of Public Safety is investigating a possible wrong-way crash on State Route 51 northbound near Shea Boulevard.
The crash happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday. Officials with DPS say dispatch received reports of a vehicle possibly traveling the wrong-way in the area, as well as doing donuts.
All northbound lanes of SR-51 were closed for several hours during the investigation.
It's unclear if anybody was hurt or if any arrests were made.
DPS is still working to determine the exact cause of the crash.
