A wrong-way driver crashed into a wall on the Loop 101 Sunday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
DPS said just before 3:30 a.m. they received a report of a wrong-way vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes on the southbound SR-101 and McDowell exit ramp in Scottsdale.
The car reportedly came to a stop on the ramp and began moving the wrong way up the ramp and struck a concrete barrier wall.
DPS says Podave Riley, 25 was arrested. The Tempe man was booked on DUI and endangerment charges.
