PHOENIX — Police are investigating after a woman was found dead in central Phoenix.
Emergency personnel got the call of an unresponsive woman near 8th Avenue and Jackson Street.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her identity has not been released and it is unclear when the woman was found dead.
Police are investigating what led up to the woman's death.
