PHOENIX — Phoenix Police have arrested 24-year-old Sabrina Slaughter in connection with the death of a 22-year-old Nicole Nicholson, who was found dead in an alley on February 13.

According to police, Slaughter was a friend of Nicholson, and allegedly admitted she was involved in Nicholson's murder.

Police found Nicholson's car on February 15 around noon near 21st and Missouri avenues, less than a block away from where her body was found on the 13th, according to a police spokesperson.

While police were waiting to recover Nicholson's car, Slaughter got into the vehicle with a male subject, according to police. Police detained Slaughter and the man she was with.

Slaughter allegedly admitted she had been driving Nicholson's car since the murder.

At this time, Slaughter has not provided a reason for killing her friend.

Police say the man Slaughter was with did not appear to have any knowledge of the incident.

Slaughter is being charged with the murder of Nicole Nicholson and for disposing of her body in the alley.
