PHOENIX — A 24-year-old woman is accused of murder after her boyfriend was shot and killed in Phoenix on Wednesday night.
Phoenix police say they were called to the scene of a shooting near 35th Avenue and Fillmore Street. When officers arrived, they located the victim, a 25-year-old man, and took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officials learned the victim’s girlfriend, Miranda Gerardo, was present at the time of the shooting and was seen at the home. Investigators developed probable cause and arrested Gerardo for murder.
Police have not publicly identified the victim.
No other information was released.
