PHOENIX - Police say a 19-year-old woman has died after being shot in her car by a 17-year-old on October 22.

Phoenix police say officers were called to the area of 17th and Peoria avenues around 11:45 p.m. Saturday in response to a shooting.

19-year-old Norma Luna was sitting in the back of a car that pulled up next to another car when the other driver fired multiple rounds, hitting the woman.

Luna was taken to the hospital where she later died.
