Sears has announced they are closing over 60 stores, including one in Arizona.
The Sears at Metrocenter Mall (10001 N. Metro Parkway West) in Phoenix will close in early September of 2018.
The Sears Auto Center at Metrocenter will close in June of 2018.
In total, the company announced 15 Kmart stores and 48 Sears stores will close in September.
Eligible associates will have the chance to apply for open positions at other Sears or Kmart stores.
Liquidation sales will begin as early as June 14.
