PHOENIX — One of the Valley's most popular sandwich shops now is open at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
Zookz Sandwiches, known for its signature circular sandwiches, has landed at Terminal 4 of the Valley's main airport, marking the latest local eatery to set up shop there.
It's the third Valley location for Zookz.
Zookz regularly wins awards and accolades for its offerings, which are created using a patented cooking device that mimic the much-beloved rounded sandwiches of Zookz founder Carole Meyer's youth.
