Police say a woman whose body was found in Phoenix last month did not die of natural causes.
Erin Akers, 32, was found dead near 15th Avenue and Van Buren Street on the afternoon of January 18.
Police originally said that Akers, who was found wrapped in a blanket, had no signs of visible trauma to her body. After an investigation, police determined the case is a homicide.
Police are still working to figure out what happened to Akers, but don't have a suspect description to go by at this time.
