A person has been hospitalized after being shot in Phoenix.
Police were called to 48th Street and Broadway Road around 3 p.m. Sunday after receiving reports about the shooting.
According to Phoenix police, the shooting happened after an altercation between at least two people.
Officers are now looking for the shooter after he or she fled the scene, authorities said.
The victim, who was shot in the upper torso, was alert and talking but is refusing to cooperate with the police investigation. The man is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the shooting may have been accidental.
