One person was killed and two others were injured after a shooting at Eastlake Park in Phoenix on Sunday evening.
The incident happened near 16th and Jefferson streets around 7:30 p.m.
According to Phoenix police, one person was pronounced deceased after being taken to the hospital, and two others were injured after several shots were fired at a gathering of approximately 200 people.
Police identified 46-year-old Timothy McGhee as the person shot and killed. A 42-year-old man and 44-year-old woman were also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials have not released any information yet regarding any suspects.
Police say one person was taken into custody for warrants unrelated to the shooting.
No further information was immediately available.
