This is the life Liz Khoury is used to - working one on one with patients at a clinic in Scottsdale. She's worked in the medical field for a while but it's at her home in Phoenix where Liz is really discovering the joy of giving back through something she never expected.
"I'm a physician assistant by trade. My whole undergraduate - graduate was all about medicine. I had no idea what I was getting into," says Liz.
At a small table Liz hand makes organic lip balm and sugar scrubs. She started after her cousin Jennifer passed away from breast cancer. The two were close but Liz didn't know her cousin was quietly donating to children's charities.
"She is one person that was out there that truly knew the concept of unconditional love," says Liz.
Liz was so moved by her cousin's gesture, she started a non-profit, the Organic with Love Foundation.
The proceeds from her hand made creations going directly to local young people in need.
"Organic with Love Foundation is a way that I can keep giving and donating in her name and also inspiring other people,” she said.
