PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating after a body was found on South Mountain Wednesday evening.
Officers say around 6:45 p.m., police were called to assist park rangers in the investigation. When officers arrived on scene, they located the unidentified person and determined the body had been out there for some time.
Police say the cause of death will be determined by the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office.
