Phoenix police have made an arrest in a shooting that left one dead.
Police say they arrested a 17-year-old juvenile at his home in Mesa on Thursday.
The arrest is in connection with a deadly shooting that took place near Central Avenue and Dunlap Road on September 2nd.
The juvenile later admitted during an interview with detectives that he was involved in the shooting death of 24-year-old Rosario Cortez.
According to police, the suspect has been booked into the Maricopa County Juvenile Correctional Center on one count of second-degree murder.
