Police are responding to reports of a shooting involving an officer in west Phoenix on Thursday afternoon.
According to Phoenix police, the shooting happened near 35th Avenue and Thomas Road.
There was no suspect information immediately available, and it's unknown if there were any injuries involved.
It is unclear what led up to the shooting.
