Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton is a free man again, after being trapped in an elevator at City Hall.
The mayor and a member of his security detail were stuck near the 10th floor for about 25 minutes Monday afternoon.
A technician arrived to get them out safely.
Stanton praised Officer Sheree Lee for her calm during the elevator ordeal. She's a member of his security detail.
The mayor sent out a text later saying he was still a little shaken, but Lee's calm demeanor plus a great deal of silent prayer and reflection pulled him through.
