A Phoenix man has been arrested in connection with his wife’s stabbing death.
Police said Hojat Fahandej Saadi, 36, stabbed his wife of 13 years, Laleh Fahandej Saadi, early Sunday morning Central Avenue and Baseline Road.
Police said Hojat has a history of domestic violence, having threatened to hurt himself and others in the past.
Investigators said they found the receipt for an axe that may have been used in the crime in Hojat’s vehicle.
Hojat denied the allegations to police, saying he had not seen his wife in a while and that he didn’t know where she was living.
