Phoenix Police are investigating after a woman died from stabbing injuries early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to the stabbing call near Central and Baseline around 3:30 a.m.
Witnesses in the apartment complex say they heard a woman screaming and banging on their door in the complex. When they opened the door, they saw the woman who was injured and called police.
The woman reportedly died from her injuries on scene.
Investigators are still at the complex working the investigation.
