PHOENIX — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday night near 44th and Washington streets.
Police say a man was crossing mid-block when he was hit by a small passenger vehicle.
The man was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
The vehicle that hit the man drove away from the scene, according to police.
A description of the vehicle has not been provided.
