PHOENIX — Police are investigating a deadly pedestrian-involved crash in Phoenix.
The crash occurred around 1 a.m. Friday near 31st Street and Thomas Road.
Officials at the scene tell ABC15 a man was crossing the street mid-block in a wheelchair when he was hit by a vehicle.
The victim, only identified as a 63-year-old man, died from his injuries.
The 23-year-old driver stayed at the scene of the crash and reportedly showed signs of impairment.
No further information about the crash was immediately available, but the incident shut down Thomas Road in both directions in the area.
