PHOENIX — Two people are in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle near 7th Street and Indian School Road Thursday night.
Phoenix officials say two women were hit by a car at around 7:20 p.m. while crossing the street.
Phoenix police say the car was traveling east on Indian School Road, when the two pedestrians attempted to cross the road mid-block.
The 30 and 37-year-old women were transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Officers have not determined if speed or impairment played a factor in the collision.
Officials say the driver remained on scene following the collision.
