PHOENIX — One person was stabbed and another was beaten at a bus stop near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road early Sunday morning, according to Phoenix police.
Police say around 3 a.m., the first victim approached a group of six men looking for his stolen property.
One suspect allegedly took the victim's pocket knife. The victim was then beaten up by the group, police say.
A second victim tried to intervene, but was stabbed multiple times by the suspect with the knife.
All suspects involved in the stabbing fled and have not yet been apprehended, according to police.
The two men who were attacked were transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries and are expected to survive.
