PHOENIX — A 17-year-old was killed in a shooting during a house party in Phoenix Sunday night.
Phoenix Police Department says officers were called to the area of 21st Street and Apollo Road around 9:15 p.m. to check out a “shots fired” report.
Investigators learned that there were several people having a house party. A 17-year-old, Kenyon Myers, was reportedly shot while leaving the house.
The suspect fled before police arrived at the scene.
Myers was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
