A 51-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a vehicle in Phoenix on Thursday morning.
Phoenix police said the man was walking in the roadway at 14th Street and Osborn Road around 12:40 a.m. when he was hit by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, a 37-year-old man, stopped and remained at the scene.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police believe impairment played a factor in the crash.
There is no word if an arrest has been made. The name of the pedestrian has not been released.
