PHOENIX — An arrest has been made in connection to a fatal shooting in south Phoenix
Phoenix police arrested 28-year-old Angel Ybarra on Saturday for his alleged involvement in a shooting Wednesday near 35th Avenue and Roeser Road.
Investigators say around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, 26-year-old Jerrod Moreno was shot and killed following an altercation with the suspects.
Moreno was pronounced dead at the scene. It's unclear what led up to the altercation and how Moreno and Ybarra knew eachother.
Ybarra is being held at the Maricopa County Jail for second degree murder and possession of narcotic drugs.
