A man has died after being shot in south Phoenix Tuesday night.
The incident happened around 8:50 p.m at a home near 47th Avenue and Baseline Road.
Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Trent Crump said the shooting may be related to a domestic relationship and that officers are not looking for any other suspects.
He said police believe both people involved were shooting at each other from two different vehicles.
Witnesses at the scene told authorities the suspect's vehicle was possibly white in color.
The man was taken to the hospital where he died. He's been identified as 27-year-old Derri Person.
Children were home at the time of the shooting, said Crump. The Department of Child Safety was contacted, but it was not immediately clear if any action was taken.
No one is in custody or charged, police said. The investigation is on-going.
