PHOENIX — Phoenix police say a man was killed after a domestic violence situation turned into a shooting on Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the scene near 27th Avenue and Indian School Road around 9:32 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a 63-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was rushed to a hospital where he died, according to Phoenix Police Sergeant Maggie Cox.
Cox said the victim and suspect were drinking together during the day. It's unclear what sparked a shooting.
The name of the victim hasn't been released and an arrest hasn't been announced.
