A man upset that he couldn't ride the bus for free reacted by threatening the driver with a knife, according to court documents.
Police said in thier report that Anthony Cadman, 35, tried to board a city bus near 19th Avenue and Camelback, but wanted to ride for free.
When the bus driver refused to let him on, Cadman pulled out a knife and, according to according to a quote within court documents said, "I hate white people like you and I'm gonna cut you you up."
The driver hit a "panic" button on the bus and Cadman ran away. Officers found him at a nearby fast-food restaurant and arrested him.
He was booked into jail for aggravated assault.
