A woman was arrested after a deadly DUI crash that injured four others in Phoenix on Thursday night.
Phoenix police report 26-year-old Jacqueline Racquel Sayre was driving northbound on 16th Street near Van Buren Street. She reportedly crossed the centerline, striking a southbound Hyundai Elantra with five people inside.
The front passenger in the Elantra was killed.
The driver sustained a broken thigh, while another passenger suffered critical internal injuries. Other passengers suffered soreness and broken bones. Police originally said two young children were among those passengers.
Police say Sayre blew a .202 on a preliminary breath test.
She was arrested for manslaughter, aggravated assault, and endangerment.
