PHOENIX — Phoenix police say a 17-year-old boy was arrested after a deadly shooting late Monday night.
Officers were called to the area of 31st Avenue and Thomas Road after 11 p.m. when a shooting occurred. Police located a shooting victim, a 21-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was at the scene and was detained.
Police say the teenager was arrested on murder and weapons violation charges.
It's unclear what led to the shooting. Police did not provide any further information.
