The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office says 8,000 fentanyl pills were seized as part of a 5-month long drug investigation on Valley streets.

According to MCSO, detectives served several search warrants as part of the investigation and seized the pills from various locations, including a storage unit in the Maryvale area.

Octavio Gutierrez-Hernandez, 33, and Jorge Bazan, 23, were both booked into jail for possession of narcotic drugs for sale and conspiracy.
