PHOENIX — One person is dead after a head-on crash Wednesday morning in Phoenix.
The crash occurred around 3:30 a.m. near 19th Avenue and Broadway Road.
Phoenix police officials say a blue Nissan Rogue was headed southbound on 19th Avenue before it crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. The Nissan struck a mini-van that had been driving northbound.
The driver of the Nissan died after the crash, and police say the mini-van driver is expected to survive his injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
