Fire officials say 46-year-old Jesus Morales was killed in a rollover crash in Phoenix on Monday morning.
The crash happened near 67th Avenue and Van Buren Street around 5:40 a.m.
Police say a driver failed to yield while turning into a driveway and hit the Chevy truck Morales was in causing it to roll over.
Witnesses at the scene say the driver may have been trying to avoid people walking in the roadway, but that has not been confirmed.
The official cause of the crash has not yet been determined, but police say speed and impairment do not appear to be factors.
