Sheriff Joe Arpaio will be equipping his deputies with body cameras.
On Thursday afternoon, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is expected to roll the program.
MCSO is getting about 700 cameras, the largest deployment of cameras in Arizona.
Arpaio used to be against body cameras. In 2014, Arpaio told ABC15 there was no way he would equip his deputies with the technology.
However, back in November Arpaio took to Twitter and said it would happen.
