It looks like the Maricopa County Recorder's Office is better preparing for the Valley's next vote in May.

On Monday, Helen Purcell's office released a list of polling locations for the upcoming vote, with 56 added locations since March.

March's polling locations totaled 60, while May's are almost double, with 116 locations. All of the March locations will also be open for May's voters.

Every point on the map below is an upcoming polling location. Blue points indicate the location was also used in March. For a full-screen view, click here.

Confusion and long lines marked the 2016 presidential preference election, with voters waiting hours to cast their vote.

The U.S. Justice Department is inquiring about the problems to evaluate if the state complied with voting rights laws.
