Are you interested in fostering an adorable Beagle? Kelly at the Arizona Humane Society is looking for a temporary foster home while her owner serves overseas.

AHS said Kelly had to say goodbye to her owner in December, who was being deployed to serve overseas.

Kelly, 6-years-old, has been in the humane society's Project Active Duty program that provides temporary foster care for pets whose owners are serving the United States.

Before her owner returns in 2018, AHS is looking for a family to care for Kelly.

AHS said time in a kennel has taken a toll on Kelly over the last year.

"Being a Beagle with a fine-tuned nose and a strong desire to be near people, Kelly's curiosity can lead her out of the yard if someone doesn't keep a watchful eye," AHS said in a news release.

Family activities, playing with other dogs or kids, and chewing on a bone keeps Kelly content, AHS said.

She knows all basic commands, and is leash and house trained.
