Kelly, the 6-year-old Beagle whose owner is serving overseas, has found a foster family to call home.
The Arizona Humane Society said after Kelly's story was shared on Sunday they received more than 200 calls from interested adopters.
AHS said Kelly is going home on Wednesday with a family from Phoenix who is very experienced with Beagles.
Those who weren't able to take Kelly home signed up to foster future military pets and/or became foster parents for other pets at the shelter, AHS said.
Kelly's owner is scheduled to return home from deployment in 2018.
