A June 6 trial is scheduled for the operators of a Gilbert kennel where 21 dogs of exhaustion and four others were injured back in 2014.
A Maricopa County Superior Court judge set the trial date for Jesse and Maleisa Hughes during a hearing Tuesday.
They have pleaded not guilty to charges of animal cruelty and other crimes.
