PHOENIX — With its relative affordability compared to other markets, if you earn $100,000 a year in Phoenix, your money goes pretty far.
That's the takeaway of an analysis from GoBankingRates, which crunched numbers on how far that six-figure salary goes in 50 U.S. cities when accounting for essentials such as rent, groceries and health care.
Among the 50 cities analyzed, Phoenix landed at No. 19, just behind Columbus, Ohio (No. 18) and ahead of Indianapolis, Indiana (No. 20).
