Movie nights at CityScape in downtown Phoenix will continue into 2016.
Nearly 1,200 people brought their lawn chairs, blankets and snacks each month to Patriots Park to watch free movies at CityScape near Central Avenue and Washington Street, the venue said in a release.
Movie screenings will happen on the second Friday of each month. The event typically starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by contests and giveaways. Movies will typically start at 6:30 p.m. unless it's a double-feature, when movies will start at 5:30 p.m.

March 11: Pitch Perfect.

April 8: The Sandlot.
