PHOENIX — Five people have been taken to the hospital following a rollover crash in central Phoenix on Thursday evening.
According to Phoenix fire officials, two vehicles were involved in a rollover collision in the southbound lanes of State Route 51 north of Indian School Road around 8:30 p.m.
Five people were injured in the crash and taken to area hospitals, although the extent of their injuries was not immediately available.
SR 51 southbound was closed at Indian School Road for about two hours while crews worked to clear the roadway.
