FD: 3 pedestrians struck by car in Phoenix, driver arrested

Three pedestrians were struck by a car in Phoenix early Thursday morning.

Phoenix police say the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. near 19th and Glendale avenues.

Zachary Vick, 25, was reportedly behind the wheel when he struck the pedestrians.

Firefighters located three pedestrians who had been hit by a car, including two with serious injuries. The third victim suffered minor injuries.

Police say Vick showed signs of impairment after the crash and was booked into jail on DUI and drug-related charges.

It's unknown whether the pedestrians were in a crosswalk or sidewalk at the time of the crash.
